Meet the owner
Reco owner Dylan Filbee has been a qualified mechanical engineer for over 20 years. He initially gained his New Zealand Certificate in Engineering (NZCE) before completing his mechanical engineering degree at the University of Canterbury. He owns and manages a design consultancy firm, and brings his passion for unique craftsmanship to Reco Wrought Iron, which he purchased in 2014. a
Dylan combines his design expertise and practical manufacturing knowledge to ensure Reco customers get the best of both worlds – beautifully handcrafted wrought iron at cost-effective prices. Dylan also draws on over 20 years of project management experience to coordinate with builders and architects for larger projects, ensuring a hassle free process.
Along with Reco Wrought Iron’s highly skilled team, Dylan also contracts other skilled Nelson craftsmen and tradespeople.
